Over the past 24 hours, 82 military clashes occurred, notes the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published operational information about the Russian invasion as of Thursday morning, January 26, 2024.

“Over the past 24 hours, 82 military clashes took place. In general, the enemy launched 2 missile and 19 air strikes, carried out 68 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged," the General Staff said in a statement.
Air strikes were received by: Komissarovo, Kharkov region; Serebryansky forestry, Lugansk region; Terny, Razdolevka, Druzhkovka, Avdeevka, Georgievka, Novomikhailovka, Konstantinovka, Donetsk region; Ponds of the Nikolaev region.
More than 100 settlements in Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.
In the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 6 enemy attacks near Sinkovka, Tabaevka in the Kharkov region and Stelmakhovka in the Lugansk region.
In the Liman direction, 5 attacks of invaders were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Terny, Torskoye, Donetsk region, and 2 more attacks near Makeevka, Lugansk region.
In the Bakhmut direction, the Defense Forces repelled 8 enemy attacks near Bogdanovka, Ivanovsky, Kleshchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region.

“In the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who is not abandoning attempts to encircle Avdiivka.Our warriors steadfastly hold the defense, inflicting significant losses on the invaders. Over the past 24 hours, the defense forces repelled 6 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoe, Avdeevka and another 10 attacks near Pervomaisky and Nevelskoye, Donetsk region,” the General Staff reported.
In the Maryinsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold back the enemy near Georgievka, Pobeda and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region, where 25 attacks were repulsed.
In the Shakhtarsky direction, 6 attacks by Russian troops were repelled southeast of Vodyanoye, Zolotaya Niva and west of Staromayorsky, Donetsk region.
In the Zaporozhye direction, Ukrainian fighters repulsed 3 enemy attacks southeast of Rabotino, Zaporozhye region.

"In the Kherson direction, the Defense Forces continue to take measures to expand the bridgehead. Despite significant losses, the enemy does not abandon attempts to dislodge our units from their positions. Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has made 6 unsuccessful assaults on the positions of Ukrainian troops. Our soldiers continue to actively attack the occupation forces losses in manpower and equipment deplete the enemy along the entire front line,” the General Staff adds.
Over the past 24 hours, units of the missile forces carried out strikes on 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and on 1 more important enemy target.
